The Israeli-based Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. is a global leader in manufacturing and developing generic pharmaceuticals.

The company has a history of more than hundred years. It is present in more than 60 countries worldwide and employs over 40,000 people.

The center of Teva Pharmaceutical Works Ltd., the Hungarian member of the Teva-group, is in Debrecen. It is the Eastern-European manufacturing centre of the company, and one of the most important R&Đ centres of the TEVA group.

At its Debrecen, Gödöllő and Sajóbábony sites, the company produces solid dosage products (pills and capsules), sterile products (injections, infusions, eye-drops), active pharmaceutical ingredients, and semi-solid products. Beyond the above-mentioned manufacturing functions, the company also has high-quality R&D activity, that serves Teva's chief goal, that is providing high-quality and safe products available for everybody.
